Most states now have on-line voter
registration through the state Department of Motor Vehicles -
the so called "motor voter" registration process. Texas does not
provide this capability.
Texas does have an on-line voter
registration form that can be filled in on-line, printed out,
and then mailed in. Just remember you have to print it out and
mail it to the voter registrar in your county of residence.
You can access this on the
Texas Secretary of State Website.
Texas citizens are
able to check to make sure they are actually registered by going
to the Texas
Voter Information Website. Voters are sometimes dropped from
the voter registration rolls for various reasons. So check to make
sure you have not been purged from the rolls.
